Uwe Hochgeschurz has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis’ Enlarged Europe region in June 2022. In this role, he is responsible for the Group’s entire European business. Previously, Hochgeschurtz had been CEO of Opel/Vauxhall since September 2021 and during this time gave the brand further impetus for the electrification and digitization offensive. Uwe Hochgeschurtz started his career in the automotive industry at Ford in 1990 before moving to Volkswagen in 2001 and Renault in 2004. Born in Cologne, he studied business administration in Germany (Wuppertal and Cologne), Great Britain (Birmingham) and France (Paris Dauphine).
